HT40 Shoulder Check and ALOHA

.
We believe that physical health is only a piece of the equation when it comes to feeling good. That's why ALOHA is partnering with Shoulder Check to support youth mental wellness, encouraging young men and women to check in with one another, growing and reinforcing a culture of kindness one small act a time. Read below to learn how you can get involved.

We live in a connected world, but young adults today continue to feel isolated. In fact, 1 in 4 young adults experience a mental health crisis each year. The risk remains high amongst youth athletes, as they face added pressure to perform at the individual and team levels.
But there is hope. Over 2/3 of them will accept support from a peer.
Shoulder Check is a commitment to actively connect with those around you by reaching out, checking in, and making contact.

In honor of Hayden Thorsen, who left us far too early, #HT40 was founded in 2022 to bring people together through kindness and compassion, just as he did throughout his life. To inspire a culture of support through small actions that have big impact. Like a hand on a shoulder that lets you know you're not alone. Shoulder Check is HT40's flagship Initiative.

Small actions often can lead to the greatest impact. That's why, during the month of August, for every order containing mini plant-based protein bars ALOHA will donate $5 to the HT40 foundation, in support of the Shoulder Check initiative. Just look for the blue tape on products that qualify.
A game like no other, featuring some of hockey's biggest stars coming together with the young men and women who made Shoulder Check a reality, celebrating their commitment to one another alongside everyone in attendance.
