I’ve tried a LOT of vegan protein bars over the years and wish I’d found these Chocolate Mint and a couple other ALOHA bars sooner…. As I love peanut butter I had long ago found tried ALOHA’s PB Chocolate Chip bars but they were really just too weirdly rich for my preference. Fast forward years, still no bar I love as a vegan athlete who has trouble getting enough protein, prefers organic nutrients, and doesn’t always have time to make or grab a good protein smoothie, so when I came across ALOHA again I decided to try again after seeing more flavors advertised somewhere. In fact I made a point to try almost every flavor that sounded even remotely good as I’ve always liked their organic balance of good protein & fiber without excess calories/sugar. Happily I found & now rotate 3 ALOHA bar flavors that are easy on my palate—bonus that they all have even better stats for me than the PB Choc ones. I’d add their white chocolate peppermint flavor as a 4th but it’s only seasonal + ALOHA is almost always sold out of them. I like these post-workout protein, as a protein boost at a meal when needed-often breakfast when rushed, & as a quick balanced snack. They help me meet daily protein needs without overloading sugar or calories. I keep them in my car’s glove box, a drawer at work, my workout bag, + home for easy access. Cancelled all other protein brand auto-ships except for one that I keep as my second choice go-to to add variety of plant protein mix to my diet + for when…
