We believe that great nutrition and great taste go hand in hand, which is why we source natural, nutrient-dense ingredients. The majority of our ingredients are sourced in the United States from organic farms or reputable vendors certified for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). We are committed to offering the cleanest, tastiest food possible, and always seek out ingredients that offer high-standard certifications (e.g. Organic, non-GMO, and/or Kosher).

We do source some of our superfoods and spices, like monk fruit, from the regions where they are traditionally grown. 

Our company started in Honolulu and was founded by three native entrepreneurs (both kanaka and kama'aina) on a mission to spread the aloha spirit through good, healthy food to the world. Today, we're fortunate to have a larger group of supporters (kanaka, kama'aina, mainlanders, and international citizens) as owners and we became an official employee-owned B-Corp in 2020. 

Furthermore, we have a local advisory council (all kanaka - all owners) who continually help guide us with what it means to live and act with aloha through our actions. We collaborate with non-profits on the islands like Kupu Hawaii (https://www.kupuhawaii.org/) and are working to set up the infrastructure to support local ingredient farms for our products.
