Chocolate Pistachio Protein Bars

Do Chocolate Pistachio Protein Bars contain sugar alcohol sweeteners or stevia?

Never. We are very deliberate about our food philosophy, and sugar alcohol sweeteners are not part of it: no erythritol, xylitol, maltitol or sorbitol, and no stevia, sucralose or aspartame either. Sweetness comes from organic cane sugar, tapioca syrup and fruit, with a touch of monk fruit in some flavors. Monk fruit is a fruit extract, not a sugar alcohol sweetener. Every full size bar has 5g of sugar or less.

Are Chocolate Pistachio Protein Bars vegan and dairy free?

Yes. Every ALOHA bar is certified vegan and made without dairy. The protein is entirely plant-based, from brown rice and pumpkin seed, and the chocolate used across the range is dairy free. The bars are also soy free and Non-GMO Project Verified.

Are Chocolate Pistachio Protein Bars gluten free?

Yes, and we hold a stricter line than the label requires. Every batch of finished product is third party tested for gluten to under 5ppm, where the Certified Gluten Free standard allows 20ppm. Bars are also soy free and Non-GMO Project Verified, and ALOHA is a Certified B Corporation. Certifications differ slightly by flavor, so the badges on this page are the ones that apply here.

What allergens do Chocolate Pistachio Protein Bars contain?

Most ALOHA bars contain tree nuts, usually almonds, cashews, pecans, macadamias or coconut, and several contain peanuts. Nuts earn their place as a source of plant protein and healthy fats. Exact allergens differ by flavor, so check the ingredient list on this page. No ALOHA bar has dairy, soy or gluten in it. Bars are made in a facility that also processes fish, milk, peanuts, sesame, soy, tree nuts and wheat, with equipment cleaned and swabbed between every run.

How much protein is in Chocolate Pistachio Protein Bars?

Every full-size ALOHA bar has 14g of plant-based protein, from a blend of brown rice and pumpkin seed protein. There is no whey, casein or soy protein in any of them. The exact calorie and fiber counts vary by flavor. The nutrition panel on this page has the full breakdown for this one.

Are Chocolate Pistachio Protein Bars USDA Organic?

Yes. Every ALOHA protein bar, protein powder and protein drink in our core lineup is organic, and has been since day one. Our three Special Edition Hawai'i bars are the exception: The Kona Bar, The Pa'akai Bar and The Taro Bar are made in small batches with ingredients sourced directly from sustainable farms in Hawai'i, so they don't carry the USDA Organic seal, but they're held to the same ingredient standards as the rest of our range.
