Leonardo da Vinci said "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication," and we agree! With a a few excellent ingredients you can create a perfect dish. Point in case, chocolate covered fruit!
1/2 cup ALOHA Chocolate, chopped or chocolate chips of choice
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/2 mango, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons shredded coconut
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Clean and dry your fruit well (if there is linguring moisture the chocolate will not adhere well).
Bring a small saucepan to medium-low heat and add the chocolate and coconut oil. You can also use your microwave to melt the chocolate - either way, be sure to not over-heat the chocolate. When the chocolate is 75% melted take it off the heat - it will continue to melt.
Stir the chocolate and dip half of each piece of fruit. Place chocolate covered fruit onto parchment lined baking sheet and place into the freezer for at least 15 minutes to set. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
