Chickpea Cookie Dough Protein Bites
Who doesn’t love cookie dough? Well now, you can enjoy it even more without the added refined sugar and raw egg! This recipe is a great way to curb your sweet tooth while keeping you full with plant-based protein and fiber! If you’re skeptical about being able to mask the chickpeas, rest assured that the creamy peanut butter, brown rice syrup, and ALOHA Vanilla Protein does the trick!
Makes about 12 large bites
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons brown rice syrup
1 serving ALOHA Vanilla Protein
1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped ALOHA Chocolate bar)
2 ALOHA Chocolate bars
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a food processor combine your chickpeas, peanut butter, brown rice syrup, and ALOHA vanilla protein on high until creamy.
Next fold in your chocolate chips until they are combined throughout.
Using a tablespoon, scoop some of the mixture and roll it into a ball with your hands. Do this until all of the dough is used up.
Then over low heat, melt your ALOHA Superfood Chocolate bars in a saucepan. Continuously stir until melted, about 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and dunk each “cookie dough bite” into the chocolate then place on parchment paper.
Once they’re all covered, place them into the refrigerator to harden.
