Avocado Spinach Wraps

Here is a new spin on a "spinach wrap." Ditch the tortilla and use the actual spinach! You will need more than a baby leaf for this to work. Luckily Whole Foods has some beautiful spinach.

We added some spinach to our avocado purée because we just love the stuff! But this recipe works with any kind of spread. Try filling your spinach wraps with somehummus or pesto! This is a great, low-carbohydrate snack—or a healthy appetizer!


  • 13 to 15 large spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt of choice
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ALOHA Daily Good Greens
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons olive oil

  1. Combine all of your ingredients, minus 10 of the spinach leaves, in a blender or food processor. Mix until you reach a desired consistency.
  2. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon portions of the avocado purée onto the remaining spinach leaves.
  3. Wrap 'em up and enjoy!
