Coconut Cucumber Ginger Mojito

Everyone knows that dehydration is one of the biggest issues when it comes to drinking alcohol. Chugging water before you go to bed is helpful for staving off a hangover. But even better than that, is hydrating while you drink. Cucumber and coconut are as good as it gets when looking for natural hydration. Do yourself a favor tomorrow and make this cocktail tonight.

Makes Two Drinks

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 large English cucumber or 2 Persian cucumbers
  • 1 inch fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cup loosely-packed fresh mint
  • 2 shots white rum of choice
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon of ALOHA Superfood Greens

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender except for the rum.
  2. Blend on high for three to five minutes.
  3. Place a paper towel (double up if they are thin) on top of the opening of a wide rimmed glass or bowl.
  4. Slowly pour the mixture over the towel making a basket.
  5. Ring the liquid into the glass and capture the particles in the towel.
  6. Add in the rum and stir.
  7. Pour into two glasses and garnish as desired.
