How to Use ALOHA Superfood Greens

Congratulations, you have a packet of amazing superfoods in your hands! ALOHA Superfood Greens is basically green juice to go—except better because our infrared drying process preserves most of the fiber that is normally lost making juice.

However, you might be feeling intimidated or even grossed out by Superfood Greens. That is totally okay. If you don’t like drinking your Superfood Greens mixed with water, there are a lot of options out there, and here at the ALOHA office, we’ve pretty much tried them all…

First things first: What do the Superfood Greens taste like?

Delicious, of course. But if you want to get specific…

The  Original Superfood Greens taste like a green juice. They aren’t particularly sweet, but have a great neutral taste.

The  Berry Superfood Greens are sweet and tangy, you can taste the blueberries and raspberries. This is our most popular blend!

The  Chocolate Superfood Greens have more of a “milk chocolate” taste rather than a dark chocolate one; this is a great way to calm a chocolate craving.

They all mix in quickly—you won’t notice the texture at all in a smoothie! Due to our dehydrating and drying process there might be some sediment at the bottom of your glass if you mix it straight with water or coconut water. Nothing to panic about though!

Great! I’m in. How do I drink them? 

All of the Superfood Greens can be mixed in about eight ounces of water. However you can mix them in any beverage (even cocktails)! If you are unsure about the taste, start with half or even a quarter of a packet and add in as much as you like!

Original Superfood Greens mix best with juice, coconut water, lemon water, kombucha, and green tea.

Berry Superfood Greens mix best with iced tea, juice, coconut water, lemon water, carbonated water, and kombucha.

Chocolate Superfood Greens mix best with coconut water, milk (this is a little hard to mix sometimes so try throwing it in a blender), and coffee.

For a simple recipe try blending two cups milk of choice, half of a frozen banana or avocado, a half cup of frozen fruit, and any Superfood Greens blend!

Are there other ways to get in my Superfood Greens?


Yes, you can eat your Superfood Greens too! We throw them into tons of recipes—in theory you could eat it for every meal! Here are some of our favorite ways to eat the Superfood Greens blends.

Yogurt: Mix a half or a full packet into a six ounce container of any yogurt you choose. Best with Berry or Chocolate. We like making parfaits, like Banana Chocolate or Berry Pomegranate.

Salad Dressing : This is an ALOHA office favorite! Mix half a packet into your favorite salad dressing. We love making a batch of creamy balsamic or lemon tahini dressing.

Peanut (or any nut) Butter: Mix a half or a full packet into 1/4 of a cup of peanut butter (or any nut butter). Best with Berry or Chocolate. 

Oatmeal : Mix a half or a full packet into 1/2 cup cooked or overnight oats! Best with Berry or Chocolate.

Straight Outta the Packet: Yup, sometimes we eat the Berry Superfood Greens straight—it tastes like a fruit roll up!
