How to Make a Collard Wrap

Everything tastes better when it’s in a wrap—it is an easy, portable way to transform leftovers and amp up your lunch game. We love to make our wraps using tender collard leaves to slash calories and increase your intake of vitamins A and C.

  1. Take your collard leaf and rinse it gently in warm or hot water (the warm water will make it easier to wrap it).
  2. Pat dry, then cut out the thick stem—you can stop when the stem hits the leaf, but if it is thick then just cut a little bit farther to make an inverted “V.”
  3. Place the leaf stem down, and pile your ingredients in the center.
  4. To make the wrap, fold down the shorter, horizontal edges first, tucking in the collard leaf flaps if necessary, then roll it up!
