Everything tastes better when it’s in a wrap—it is an easy, portable way to transform leftovers and amp up your lunch game. We love to make our wraps using tender collard leaves to slash calories and increase your intake of vitamins A and C.
- Take your collard leaf and rinse it gently in warm or hot water (the warm water will make it easier to wrap it).
- Pat dry, then cut out the thick stem—you can stop when the stem hits the leaf, but if it is thick then just cut a little bit farther to make an inverted “V.”
- Place the leaf stem down, and pile your ingredients in the center.
- To make the wrap, fold down the shorter, horizontal edges first, tucking in the collard leaf flaps if necessary, then roll it up!
