Are ALOHA products safe for kids and pregnant or nursing mothers?

ALOHA products are formulated for adults, with the exception of pregnant or breastfeeding women. Our products are not formulated for children. 

Please consult your healthcare provider if you are considering giving these product to your children, or if you are breast feeding or pregnant.

How long will my order take to arrive?

What is your return policy?

At ALOHA we are committed to delivering the highest quality products and making your health and wellness our number one priority! 

Since each shipment is prepared especially for you, and because we maintain such high quality control standards, we’re not able to refund for shipments that are sent back, refused or marked as returned to sender. Any boxes that are sent back or marked as "return to sender" or "refused" will be disposed of as we will not re-use or re-sell anything once it ships from our warehouse. This allows us to maintain the integrity of our products and to ensure the health safety of our current and future customers.

So, once an order ships from our warehouse it is final sale.

You can update your shipping (and billing) information easily anytime on your subscription page. If your realize you entered the incorrect address information after an order ships, though, we will not be able to re-route it or make any adjustments, so hopefully you catch the error beforehand. 

ALOHA is not responsible for customers entering their shipping address incorrectly or failing to update their address if they move.

We try very hard to make our website and free trial program as clear and transparent as possible to avoid these situations. In addition to including the terms on the website throughout the order process, customers must click a box acknowledging the terms before being able to check out. We even have the terms on the order confirmation page, in the order confirmation email, and we always send a reminder email on the day your trial is delivered, as well as a reminder email 9 days before each one of your subsqeuent orders.

If you are not receiving these emails, please check your spam folder. If you find our emails there for some reason please mark them as “NOT SPAM".

ALOHA is not responsible for customers entering their email address incorrectly, signing up with an email address they do not actively use, or for customers who enter  their shipping address incorrectly.

Referrals and Store Credit

How do referrals work?

Don't hog the ALOHA goodies just for yourself! Share it with your friends and family by sending them your unique referral link and you’ll get a $20 ALOHA credit when they place their first order!

How it works: When you invite friends to register for an ALOHA.com account, you’ll receive $20 in credit for each friend that makes a qualified first purchase. Keep in mind, your friend must be a new customer (this offer excludes returning or existing members).

You’ll receive credit for your friend’s first qualified purchase only if the purchase was a result of an invite from you via an authorized referral method. If your friend does not click on the personal referral link in their invite email or other invite mechanism to accept your invitation, you may not receive credit, and we wouldn’t want that! Otherwise, we won’t be able to discern that the purchase resulted from your referral code.

A qualified purchase is considered an ALOHA product one-time purchase or a monthly service purchase order. Free Trial orders do not count as qualified purchases. There is no limit to the amount of Referral Credit you can earn and Referral Credit will accrue with every eligible friend you refer! You can track your Referral Credit by visiting your account on the ALOHA website.

If two people refer the same friend, the friend who sent the link that is used to create the new member's account will be considered the referring friend, regardless of which link was sent to the new member first. When is my card charged?

Your credit card is charged at the time of your purchase. For free trial orders, we give you 7 days from the date that your free trial is delivered to pause, customize, or cancel before your monthly service program starts.

For subscription orders, you’re charged every 30 days, unless you've customized your subscription to receive products more or less frequently.

Sustainability

How is ALOHA sustainable?

At ALOHA, protecting the environment is of highest priority. We search for the most sustainable materials at every step, from the packaging of our products to the supplies that we use to clean our offices. When we evaluate sustainability, we consider a product’s raw materials source, manufacturing methods, and shipping methods. Sure, we could cut corners, but if it means compromising our commitment to the environment, we won’t.

Is your packaging sustainable?

Our supply towers, used as secondary packaging for the Daily Good Greens, Protein and Foundation pouches, are made of paper that is FSC-certified, 100% recycled (100% Post-Consumer Fiber), and 100% recyclable.

Our tea sachets and the stay-fresh packets they are in are made from compostable materials. The tea sachets may be disposed of with municipal compost in cities where offered and the stay-fresh packet may be disposed of in either home compost or with municipal compost in cities where offered. 

Our shipping boxes are likewise FSC-certified, 100% recycled, and 100% recyclable. FSC-certified paper promotes good forest management that ensures sustainability, wildlife and stream preservation. It follows a strict set of standards to be environmentally and socially responsible, and ensures that paper mills are following strict procedures in managing their forests.

Additionally, the materials used to print our marketing inserts and booklets are sourced with the utmost care and concern for the forest and its surrounding water, soil and ecosystem. Materials are derived from trees from a well managed forest. 

We source only from renewable sources in an environmentally-friendly, socially responsible and economically viable manner. And as if that weren't enough, all of our packaging is made in the USA.

How should I dispose of ALOHA packaging?

Our Daily Good Greens and Foundation pouch boxes, Superfood Chocolate Bar boxes, marketing inserts, and shipping boxes can be recycled with your other paper products (mixed paper). The Superfood Chocolate Bar's cellophane wrapper can be composted, and our Premium Protein tins are stainless steel so these can be recycled with other household metal recyclables. Better yet, reuse them!

The tea sachets may be disposed of with municipal compost in cities where offered and the stay-fresh packet that the tea sachets are in may be disposed of in either home compost or with municipal compost in cities where offered. 

While our Protein, Daily Good Greens and Foundation pouches keep ingredients fresh and maintain nutrients, they are not sustainable...yet!

Hello from Hawaii and Alaska! When can I expect my orders?

You may experience a few extra days in shipping timelines. Shipping costs may also be a bit higher for all non-P.O. box addresses as we’ve optimized shipping methods specifically so that you receive shipments as quickly as possible (using FedEx, not USPS) – just a little special love for our Alohis.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes and military addresses?

We do! We ship to P.O. and APO/FPO (military) boxes in every state. However, we can only offer our Economy (USPS) ship method for P.O. and APO/FPO addresses.

What if my order was damaged in transit or missing?

Oh no! We take great care in packaging your order as securely as possible. In the unlikely event that your product does arrive with damage, please let us know within 14 days of delivery by emailing our Care Team at care@aloha.com and please include photos.

Missing items or orders must be reported to us within 14 days of delivery.

Where do you source ALOHA ingredients?

We believe in bringing you the best ingredients on earth, so we source the purest and most nutrient-dense ingredients. Most of our ingredients are sourced in the United States from organic farms or reputable vendors certified for Good Manufacturing Practices. We always look for certifications such as organic, non-GMO, and Kosher. Some of our exotic superfoods and herbs come from overseas because that is where they are traditionally grown. Our wild-harvested ingredients are hand-picked in pristine wilderness.

We source the majority of fresh produce in our powders from markets local to our manufacturing facility in the United States as this requires less energy for transportation and supports small organic farms in our communities.

 

Are ALOHA products nut-free? Gluten-free? Soy-free? Vegan?

Our products are vegan, which means that they do not contain any animal products, such as meat, dairy, eggs, or honey. Did you know that most softgels contain gelatin (mystery animal parts)? Ours don't! Instead, we use a vegan softgel in our nutrient pack, The Foundation!

As far as common allergens go, you won’t find any dairy, soy*, eggs, fish (such as bass, cod, flounder), shellfish (such as crab, lobster, shrimp), or gluten** in our products.

*The Foundation contains a small amount of vitamin E (tocopherols) that are extracted from soy, and soy lecithin is sometimes used as a processing aid for our Be Young + Strong gelcaps, but The Foundation does not contain soy allergens. If you are extremely sensitive to soy, consult your healthcare provider.

 **The Daily Good contains wheat in the form of wheatgrass juice, an ingredient that normally does not contain gluten because the grass is collected and juiced before the plant produces its gluten-containing seeds. In order for a product to be considered gluten free, it's gluten content must be less than 20ppm (parts per million). The Daily Good Greens typically tests at less than 5ppm, qualifying it as gluten free. We always suggest that anyone with a pre-existing gluten-intolerance, wheat allergy, or celiac disease consult with a physician or healthcare provider prior to use – just to be on the safe side!

Are ALOHA Products Kosher?

Our three blends of Daily Good Greens and our Protein Powders are all Certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union and while all of the ingredients in our Superfood Chocolate are Kosher, we are still in the process of getting the facility certified Kosher.

We are also in the process of getting our Kosher certifications for our other products so stay tuned, we're working on it! 

 

Are ALOHA products caffeine-free?

Caffeine is a naturally-occurring ingredient in cacao and because some of our products contain REAL cacao, they may have small amounts of caffeine. There is an estimated amount of 51–53mg of caffeine per Superfood Chocolate bar. (Estimated based on info in USDA database).

ALOHA Clean Tea contains 8.35mg of caffeine per serving, ALOHA Energy tea contains 14mg of caffeine per serving, and all other ALOHA Teas are caffeine-free.

How are ALOHA products made?

We always use the highest quality manufacturing practices and consistently test for quality and purity. The Foundation is manufactured according to the strictest standards required by practitioner brands. The Daily Good is made with fresh, organic produce, and is dried via a proprietary technology that preserves nearly 100% of the nutrients and beneficial plant compounds.

I'm from California - what is this warning insert included with my product?

Heavy metals occur naturally in the soil and are found in all things that grow in it. The state of California requires that we disclose this information. The levels of heavy metals in our products are among the lowest found in similar products on the market and are on a par with levels naturally occurring in healthy foods found in the produce aisle, like spinach and mushrooms.

Where should I store ALOHA products?

We put great care into our protective packaging to ensure optimal freshness. Simply keep our products in a cool, dry location, away from heat, sun, or moisture. Keep your products on your kitchen countertop as a daily reminder to get your nutritional boost!

Why does the color of my DG sometimes look different?

Because ALOHA’s products are truly natural! They consist only of whole foods and vegetables. Variations in color are normal. 

When do the ALOHA products expire?

We use innovative packaging to keep our products fresh and safe. For optimal efficacy, we encourage you to use the products within the month you receive them, but our products have a shelf life for at least 18 months – though, our new Berry Blend and Chocolate Cacao blends are still in the process of shelf life evaluation so expect at least 6 months. How do you know? Although some of our pouches have MFG (manufacturing) dates and others have EXP (expiration) dates, no matter what, The Daily Good (not incl. blends) and The Foundation last at least 18 months.

I'm concerned about carageenan, spirulina, and folic acid.

We understand your concerns and want you to know that we're right there with you! Below you'll find how we address these ingredients:

1) Carageenan – we don’t use it in any products because there is evidence of toxicity in certain cases. We source our softgels (Be Young + Strong) from Switzerland because it’s the only place to get vegan softgels without carageenan!

2) Spirulina – test, test, test! You may have heard recently that certain algae supplements contain toxins, such as BMAA, anatoxin-a, and microcystins. Our spirulina is tested for all of these and is clean. In fact, our spirulina is one of the purest around: certified organic, grown in a controlled environment where it never comes into contact with other species of algae that may produce these toxins. It's also grown without animal fertilizers, known to introduce microbes and heavy metals. Fun Fact: did you know that spirulina is a traditional food with a long and widespread history?

3) Folic acid – if you have an older box of the Daily Good Greens whole foods powder, you may see “folic acid” on the list of nutrients. Please note that it should actually read folate, (not folic acid). Folate is a different form of vitamin B9, naturally occurring in the foods contained within the Daily Good Greens whole foods powder. We do not add any isolated chemical nutrients. ALL of the nutrients in the Daily Good Greens are naturally occurring in the whole foods we use. Our new labels reflect this and read “folate” instead of folic acid.

How is The Daily Good different from fresh-pressed juices?

As a drink, The Daily Good is quite different from bottled or fresh-pressed green juice. Most green juices are high in sugar because they tend to contain sugary fruits. They are also typically low in blood-sugar-balancing fiber because the fiber-rich pulp and skin of fruits and veggies are discarded during the juicing process. The whole organic and wild-harvested ingredients used in The Daily Good have got their fiber in tact, and we use low-sugar fruits like wild blueberries, bringing the sugar content of The Daily Good to only 3 g per pouch and calorie count to only 35! Your average green juice can have a whopping 30 g of sugar and over 200 calories. The nutrients in juices also tend to degrade quickly, so the faster you drink them, the better. You can rest assured that you are getting true nourishment when you drink The Daily Good – we gently dry our nutrient-dense ingredients at low temperatures using a patented process that retains the precious vitamins, minerals, and beneficial plant compounds of the fresh produce.

Our products are vegan, non-GMO, made in the USA, FDA cGMP, and independently tested. They also contain no artificial ingredients. Our Kosher, organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free certifications are pending!

We source certified organic ingredients whenever possible. If an ingredient is not available certified organic, we make sure it is grown without the use of restricted chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. We also test our products for agricultural chemicals because we care about your wellbeing!

Are ALOHA products raw?

Our Daily Good Greens should not be considered raw by the strictest standards. However, it is gently dried at low temperatures, which very briefly reach 130–140 degrees Fahrenheit. Our patented infrared technology selectively targets water, leaving nutrients intact. This way, our fruits and vegetable remain deliciously nutritious.

How should I eat while taking ALOHA products?

For maximum health benefits, we recommend you eat a diet consisting primarily of organic whole foods — that means fruits, veggies, and grains that are processed as little as possible. Include some healthy fats, like nuts and avocado, and, if you like, fish and lean meats. Remember to hydrate frequently. And if you drink alcoholic beverages, pace yourself – they may be fun but they’re not doing your body any favors!

How else can I use the Daily Good Whole Foods Powders?

This is where we encourage our customers to get creative. Because the Daily Good Greens is a whole foods powder it is incredibly versatile. You can mix it into drinks and smoothies, but you can also mix it into just about anything!

The simplest way to enjoy the Daily Good Greens just requires an 8-12 oz. glass of cold water or coconut water. Otherwise, you can combine it with nut milks and in smoothies. It’s also a great nutritional boost sprinkled on salads, eggs, or when stirred into yogurt, sauces, oatmeal or hummus. Do any ALOHA products serve as a cleanse or meal replacement?

Our Daily Good Greens whole foods powders only have 35-45 calories, so we do not recommend that you use this product on its own as a meal replacement. It is an amazing addition to a healthy, whole-foods diet that can boost your weight-loss, fitness, or health program by providing your body with a ton of nutrients, fiber, and minerals when you need them most.

Our Protein Powder on the other hand can serve as a meal replacement. As part of a complete anytime meal, drink, or snack, feed your body a complete serving of protein plus antioxidants, essential minerals, vitamins, fiber, and omega-3s.


 

When and how often should I take the Daily Good Greens Whole Foods Powders?

Though we generally recommend that you use the Daily Good every day (that’s why we use the word “daily” in there!), there is no one right way to integrate it into your routine.

Here at the ALOHA HQ, we each drink (or eat) about 1-3 packets every day and many of our customers do the same.

Use it as desired and to your taste! You could even use a little bit from the packet now and save the rest for later.
